Jammu, Dec 29 (KNO): MLA Bandipora Nizamuddin Bhat, met with the Minister for Education, Health & Medical Education and Social Welfare, Ms. Sakina Masood, at her Jammu residence to discuss key issues concerning the education sector in his constituency.
During their detailed discussion, Bhat highlighted the challenges and opportunities in the school and higher education in Bandipora.
He stressed the importance of enhancing human resources and introducing career-oriented faculties such as Arabic Language, Biochemistry, and Geography at the Degree College.Bhat also highlighted the need for infrastructure improvements at the College and local schools. Furthermore,he reiterated the necessity of establishing a functional transport system, constructing a dedicated library block, and improving facilities for girl students.
Ms. Masood appreciated the significance of these issues and assured Bhat of immediate steps to address them.She also committed to resolving individual cases requiring compassionate consideration.
